Our team is committed to thoughtful care and continual improvement. We work together to develop Ounruean Clinic in line with our mission and the needs of everyone who visits us.

Alongside herbal care, Thai massage is an important part of Thai traditional medicine. Two established approaches are general Thai massage and royal-style massage. At Ounruean Clinic, we focus on royal-style techniques, using the fingers and palms with controlled pressure and a respectful treatment posture.

Spending long periods at a computer or in the same position can contribute to neck, shoulder and back discomfort, often described as office syndrome. Repeated strain and everyday habits may play a part, so assessment and changes to posture and activity are important.

Our applied Thai traditional medicine practitioners assess your symptoms and advise on suitable options, which may include massage or other traditional techniques. Please tell us about your health conditions and medicines before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medicine without advice from your treating clinician.

A warm herbal compress may be offered after massage as part of a suitable care plan. Traditional compresses contain a mixture of herbs, such as plai, and combine warmth with the aroma of the ingredients to support comfort and relaxation.

Your practitioner will check whether heat and herbal products are appropriate for you. Please mention allergies, reduced sensation, pregnancy or any recent injury before treatment.
